Chinese RECIPE : Fried ice cream
DESCRIPTION: The fried ice cream is nothing but fried batter with a heart of ice. The only drawback is that it has a fairly long preparation. But it is really worth it! Ingredients: - 400 g - Vanilla ice cream or chocolate - 200 ml - Iced water - 180 gr - Flour - 70 g - Starch - 1 - egg - Half teaspoon baking powder vanilla - seed oil
PREPARATION: Combine the half teaspoon of baking powder to the flour and put it through a sieve into a bowl with the flour and water ice. Stir with a whisk, taking care not to form lumps and then add the egg. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours. Take the ice cream and formed eight balls or a number as you like and put them on a tray in the refrigerator for 3 hours. Remove the balls from the fridge and dip them in the batter completely that you have previously put to rest in the fridge in a uniform manner, on the tray and riposizionatele let them rest in the fridge for another 3 hours or more a day. Take a saucepan with high sides, place the vegetable oil and heat it in abundance. When the oil is hot, dip the ice cream balls and let them fry for 15 seconds, until the batter is golden. Once fried, place the balls on paper towels and sprinkle with sugar if you want a veil or cocoa to taste. And your heart with magic balls of ice cream is ready!
